Unsigned Group Competition 2010

Punya band dan lagu sendiri yang sudah direkam dalam bentuk Demo Master, tapi belum tau mau dikirim ke mana? Atau lagi puyeng lantaran demo master lagu-lagu lo belum ada yang ngelirik?

Syarat dan caranya gampang kok!

1. Kompetisi terbuka untuk semua grup beranggotakan 3-5 orang dan belum terikat kontrak dengan pihak manapun. Dalam bentuk apapun. Dengan jangka waktu berapapun.
2. Memiliki Demo Master (dalam bentuk CD) berkualitas layak ON-AIR serta data track berisi maksimal 3 lagu (masksimal masing-masing lagu 5 menit) ciptaan sendiri yang belumpernah di-/terkomersilkan ikut dalam kompilasi. Atau dijadikan materi iklan.
3. Usia Maksimal 30 tahun (mengirimkan fotokopi KTP/SIM/Kartu Pelajar yang masih berlaku berikut foto gup terkini).
4. Seluruh anggota grup harus kompak pakai nomor Indosat.
5. Meluangkan waktu untuk diaudisi secara langsung

Indosat Unsigned Competition 2010

One more time. Just one more time. We can win this time. We’ve been through this. But now, we’ll rise as champions.

So, it’s been one year, huh? Now the blog’s been reupdated, and the competition that floored us came up again. It’s Indosat Unsigned again. Are we ready? This time, i’ll make sure we are. We’re fresh, original, and real. No more copypasting. It’s time for real.

Believe it or not, those colors are quite sexy.

Err, nevermind. I was only talking about plans on buying a Synthesizer. Muse uses it. Vierra uses it. Awesome people uses it. And i intend to be awesome. Syllogism rocks.

And Luce complained since i havent updated this blog. But don’t worry, this is the huge plan coming. And i’ve finished test, so what the heck. I’m gonna update new photos real soon.

Hello, this is M talking again on the blog. This time it’s because Isaac did not want to type anything in, even if i forced him too. So. We are now having final exam tryouts. We are inactive, but still, are ready to answer your questions.

We’re kinda busy since we have to study and such (and i’m kinda screwed up since i have to speed up 2 years in 2 months. Do THAT.) and we haven’t submitted any record. Rest assured, we shortly will.

Please do pray for us since we’re having tests. And yourselves, if you have too. So, good day, listeners.

52nd Grammy Awards 2010

For watchers, it’s a whole compilation of announcements and music performances. For us, the musicians? The best of the best.

1st of February. The 52nd Grammy Awards just passed. We see winners and nominees sharing their joys by music, but most of all, we listen to what we’re united in. Music. I guess that’s what unites us as a band.

I saw @vidialdiano tweeted about having a Grammy-like event at Indonesia. Possible, and i would like to. Once we get famous, we could actually win those. Haha 😀 But still, we all have seen the best of the best, on stage or on the podium speaking.

Why am i posting this? Simple. I admire those people. They’re practically our role model. The greatest figure of music, ranging under multiple genres. Everybody of them is special in their own ways.

Well, still, congratulations for the winners, keep on doing your thing. And for us? Same thing, we keep on doing our thing, being musicians, being a band, and rocking on 🙂

Luce’s 17th Birthday!

It’s that time of the year isn’t it? The time when every girl celebrate a turning point of their lives. Their 17th birthday. Well, high heels, lipstick and bikinis. No differences.

On behalf of our band, we’d like to…hell, do i need to get formal? I don’t need to get formal. Blahh. Okay, Happy Birthday Luce! Thanks for being our singer for…how long? I don’t take note. By the way, i did plan to set this up at 00.00 PM. But then, i just forgot to set the auto calendar. So i edited this and started a new one. Oh well, happy birthday!

Success!

And believe it or not, we did it just fine 😀

Majors tampil tanggal 8 January 2010 di Gedung Gradika Gubernuran Semarang…di depan orang orang penting!

And it was a success! Very positive reviews from all the audience and committee. That’s a wrap Majors, we did a good job, we got recognized, we got famous, and we got it just fine.

 

Tapi kok semua pergi setelah selesai? Semua crew harus tampil di depan pas udah selesai lho…kalian malah ndak ada –_- wew. Still, it’s a good job. Very nice, Majors, very nice.

Major Monthly Review – December

Always 1 month late. That’s just how i like it to roll.

Anyways, aku baru tau kalo ada 3 band di dunia yang namanya Majors. Cuma satu yang namanya Major[5]. We rock, babe. So, this December was joyful, swell, yet fun. Kita pesta tanggal 31 December 2009 with our friends, keren sih, walaupun gak banyak orang, tapi oke oke aja.

And we forgot to practice. Ada acara di gubernuran tanggal 8 January, kita diinvite buat ngisi acara, tapi gak ada yang peduli buat latihan. Genius, people, genius. Well, wish us luck fans, we’re depending on your support, even if this is not a public performance.

Tapi kita tampil sebelum pak Gubernur dateng. Nice timing. Acara utamanya ada BaLoCo, grup humor dari Loyola College, ada Den Bagus Ngarso yang jadi komentator, trus a choir team composed of gays and transgenders, which sings quite nicely for interludes. Yang pasti mereka belum liat kemampuan kita…ahahahahahaha

What the heck. So, review time. This month, we did practically nothing but to have semester tests, receive reports, prepare for UN (screw them) and enjoy the holidays. Competition? Only at January 8, and that’s no competition. Oh well, doain kita ya people…kita bener bener perlu reputasi nih. Cheers.

Convenience

Well look! Now i’m using Windows Live Writer to write my blog from PC and not needing to load the meddlesome WordPress GUI. Well, i’m not saying it’s meddlesome, but well, my internet is. So.

We have a show at 8th of January in the government building. Yay! But off our convenience, we don’t have a bass. Any donators? Please?

Err, well, even if there’s no donator, we need to find a bass, sooner or later. Problem is, we can’t organize the whole party to practice TOGETHER. At least for once. Come on people, i sacrificed my whole Christmas holiday not checking out hot girls…err i mean, not having entertainment because of this show. It’s fame that keeps me running. And food. And steam. Huh. WE NEED TO PRACTICE.

Terus. Kita harus plan lagu-lagu baru. Kita ada 4 lagu, and what now? Kita belum siap lyrics dan macem2 lainnya. So, kalo bisa kita rencanain timing kita setelah lomba ini. Waktu kita tinggal setengah tahun (what the heck? so fast?), kira kira segitu. We want fame. We will have fame. We SHALL have fame.
